Golden Luxe Jewellery is an online jewellery store in the UK run by Becka – Entrepreneur, Small Business Owner and full-time mummy.

Golden Luxe Jewellery offers a wide range a jewellery options such as carabiner-style chains, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and much more.

Becka had a strong social media presence and wanted to increase online jewellery sales through Meta ads.

Objectives - What did they want to achieve?

Golden Luxe Jewellery wanted to increase brand awareness and increase online sales for their carabiner-style chains through organic looking Facebook advertising and Instagram advertising campaigns.

The objective was to create a high-intent audience of potential buyers and then increase traffic to the Golden Luxe Jewellery website.

Strategy Development - What did we do?

Our team utilised existing demographical data from Golden Luxe Jewellery’s social media followers and their email list to develop an ad campaign that was relevant, engaging and aligned with their brand image.

Despite this client experiencing major challenges with their Facebook page being shut down due to violations from a few years prior – we were able to create a new page for this client and rebuild their following from scratch.

We developed a lookalike audience and retargeting audience as well as setting up a new cold audience that utilises Meta’s AI algorithm to find and place the ad in front of users that were considered most likely to make a purchase.

We set up Meta Pixel and custom event tracking software on their website so that we could measure the results of the campaign effectively.

We continuously optimised the campaigns based on real-time data feedback and provided weekly updates to the client.

We also provided comprehensive reports detailing campaign performance metrics.

A/B testing – The interesting stuff!

Our campaigns all targeted primarily a female audience. We created up to 6 different primary text, headline and description options per ad campaign – allowing Meta to utilise the version that performed the best.

In some instances, we were able to reduce cost per purchase by up to 200%, simply by adding urgency-focused copy onto our ad campaigns – without even changing the visuals at all.

Our approach was to be personal with our ad campaigns, showcasing Becka, the Owner, with behind-the-scenes footage and ‘day in the life’ style content. We found that these forms of content had significantly higher hook rates and hold rates when compared to product only focused campaigns.
